Guerin Dinner Dance Logistics

A few logistical details:

  • When: Saturday, January 18th at The Union League in Philadelphia on 140 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA

  • The Guerin Dinner Dance is a Black Tie Formal.

  • Parking is available at Midtown Parking Garage at 1415 Samson Street on a first-come, first-served basis OR at 114 S 15th St. at the 15th & Sansom Valet Garage  Reserve spots at either garage using Spot Hero.  

  • There is an optional Mass at 5:45 PM, room details to come. All are welcome.

  • Cocktails are at 6:30 PM in the Lincoln Memorial and Library Lounge.  

  • Dinner and dancing to the music of The Heartbeats begins at 7:30 PM in the Lincoln Hall

  • All activities are held on the second floor.  The interior marble staircase is under construction at the Union League.  You can enter the building from Broad Street and take stairs to the second floor. Or you can enter from Sansom Street and take the elevator to the second floor.

  • Looking to stay the night? The Union League has 20 rooms on hold for guests on a first-come, first-served basis.

    • The rate is $230.00 for a standard room and $330.00 for a suite.

    • Please call into the front desk to make reservations. The Front Desk is open 24/7 and can be reached at 215-587-5570. Refer to the Father Guerin Memorial Dinner Room Block by December 30th. There is no deposit required, and guests can cancel up until 48 hours prior to the date of arrival.  

We are so happy you are joining us for this gala, named for the late Rev. William A. Guerin, OSFS. Father “G”  taught at North Catholic and Father Judge High Schools and was an administrator at DeSales University.  Fr. G’s legacy lives on at DSU through the Fr. Guerin Scholarship.

Fr. Guerin also created a network for Gospel-minded business professionals, now called the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales Business Network, who join together to support each other’s professional and spiritual growth.  All are welcome!
