He was a professed member of the Oblates for 69 years and a priest for 59 years. A teacher, religious superior, parish priest, and loyal friend, Fr. Brennan was a dedicated Oblate and a faithful son of St. Francis de Sales and the Church.

He entered the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales in 1951, made his first profession in 1953, and his final profession as an Oblate brother in 1958.
